Europe: Castles
Castles of the World is offering
travelers an itinerary that includes the most famous castles of
Europe on a 14-day tour leaving Sept. 15. Twelve castles will be
visited, including Neuschwanstein in southern Germany, on which
Disney based the Cinderella castle; the elaborate Palace and
Gardens of Versailles in France; the castles of the Loire Valley;
Chillon Castle in Lucerne, which was immortalized by the poet Lord
Byron; Bouillon castle, a Crusade site in Belgium; and the Abbey
of Mont St. Michel in France. Countries covered are Germany,
Luxembourg, Belgium, Austria, France and Switzerland.
Cost: $1,890 per person, double
occupancy, including ground transportation, hotels, many meals and
entrance fees.
